So.. please dont go on about how stupid ive been by bleaching my own hair, i know all this already.
basically it went ginger which i knew would happen but i didnt mind that cause i just wanted the black out of my hair, but now my hair is sooo damaged and its starting to break off. i’ve been using aussie 3 minute miracle everytime i wash my hair but its not making a difference, so today i bought vo5 hot oil treatments and an expensive herbal shampoo from holland and barrats thats for dry damaged hair, i will continue to use the aussie conditioner but do you think this will strengthen my hair because i really dont want to cut it, and if you know any other remidies i can use?
please dont say go to a hairdressers, they’ll just look down on you and make me feel 2 inches small and i really dont want to cut it short.
thanks for any help.

I’d love to get more details beyond my notes, but I haven’t found a good resource. (Not to mention I’ve lost my professor’s email address!) I want to know more about the classification of foods. Even better, I’d love a reference which includes common imbalances and what to eat for them.
I’m not about to get into deep TCM herbal treatments, I’ve got too many western books on that subject and it is better left for those with full training. I’d just like to know when to drink some ginger tea or avoid spicy foods. Thanks in advance.

They barely even looked at her before giving her that label, tested her only for that, and put words into her mouth about her symptoms… I’m sure its TIA, since she’s had attacks before and none lasted that long, were on and off like that, and had THAT many symptoms… anyway can this work, as it can for blood clots:
Nutritional therapy may include the following: vitamins B3 (niacin), B6, C, and E; fatty acid and garlic supplements; and the minerals zinc, magnesium, and manganese. Herbal remedies may include cayenne (Capsicum frutescens), other hot peppers, and gingko (Ginkgo biloba) to help reduce the protein fibrin, which is a necessary factor in blood clots. Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus), turmeric (Curcuma longa), and ginger (Zingiber officinale) help reduce platelets’ stickiness, which is essential for clot fo

I kinda want something thats smells like coconut, white tea, ginger, or strawberries. I heard that Organix has alot of good smelling ones, but i’ve never tried. I’ve tried that perfume walk through thing. But it just got my hair oily and greasy. I heard that putting some lotion in your hair keeps it down. So im doing that, but I need a EXTREMELY good smelling shampoo and conditioner that will smell good ALL DAY LONG! I take showers at night before bed, so i need one that smells 24 hours. Sunsilk doesn’t work for me, and I don’t know about Garnier Fructis or Tresseme. I need to have a nice one I could find at CVS or Target or Walmart or something from 4 – 7 $. I know i’m asking alot, but please help! :[ I am currently using Pantene Pro V.

Foods to Eat
Use organic fruits and vegetables as they have less pollutants and chemicals. Organic food also has a higher nutritional content than non-organic commercialized produce.
Basically your diet should mostly consist of juiced, raw, frozen, or lightly steamed fruits and veggies. Corn and avocados should be avoided, white potatoes can be eaten only in moderation. Eating a variation each day will ensure you are getting enough vitamins and keep this diet as interesting as possible.
Foods to Avoid
Here is a brief list of foods to avoid while on this plan. To get the full detoxing effects, stick to the diet and be sure that you don’t cheat!
Dairy and animal products
Bread, pasta, grains, cereal
Chocolate
Nuts
Sauces
Pickled vegetables or canned fruit
Alcohol and cigarettes
Coffee and tea (except green and herbal)
Meal Plans
- Breakfast
Variations of fruit or fruit puree are great for breakfast. They are nutritious, filling and the natural sugars will give you energy to get through the morning.
To make a fruit puree, cut up your fruit and place in a pot on the stove with a small amount of water. Cover and leave it on a low heat until the fruit is soft. Now just throw it in the blender and add a squeeze of fresh lemon to taste. I also like to add a little cinnamon.
My favorite blends contain apples, plums, nectarines, pears and berries, but really anything goes. You can also mix it up a bit by using your blender to achieve different consistencies.
- Lunch & Dinner
For your main two meals its important to keep calories low but nutrition high. A vegetable puree soup is the answer. This will give you energy to get through the day and all the nutrients you need.
Cut up your vegetables, add approximately one cup of vegetable stock, and cover on a low heat until the vegetables are soft. Now throw it in the blender and spice it up with a raw clove of garlic or jalapeño pepper (only a little as it’s very spicy!). I also like to add cilantro and a little olive oil.
I like to experiment with different vegetables for this soup. Great ideas are spinach and broccoli, collard greens, zucchini, onion, carrots and sweet potatoes. Beans also make a great addition. I like to use chickpeas but be sure they are organic.
- Desserts & Snacks
This diet can sometimes leave you feeling hungry (it wouldn’t be a diet if it didn’t!), so its important to have some filling snacks around for when you need a boost.
Fruit smoothies are a great options for dessert or a snack between meals. You need to buy packs of frozen organic fruits from your supermarket. These lock all the goodness into the fruit and are very convenient. I actually find that frozen bananas taste much better in a smoothie than fresh ones so I peel ripe bananas and put them in a ziplock bag in the freezer.
Just add ice and a little water, then blend away! I like blends of blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and banana. Its really up to you to find a few combinations that you love. Be creative!
- Drinks
Freshly squeezed juices are very detoxing and a great way to get some condensed nutrition into your body. Fresh juice is also packed full of enzymes which are fundamental in maintaining good health and preventing disease.
Some ideas for recipes – try playing around with these super-healthy ingredients. Cucumbers, apples, carrot, ginger, garlic, beet and broccoli.
Don’t forget to drink Green Tea. This is so effective as a diet aid because it increases your metabolism and reduces your appetite. It has also been used for more than 4000 years in Chinese medicine, to cure ailments ranging from headaches to depression.
oh and right now im 5 ft 7 and 120lbs and i want to get down 5-10lbs

Over the past 5 years, due to consistent work stresses and not enough play, I’ve become burn out and have developed many symptoms of hyperthyroidism and adrenal fatigue (sleep problems, overall depression, feeling drugged/weak/dopey and times, brain fog, hot body temp – sweat easily, lower than normal testosterone, DEHA, progesterone and erratic cortisol levels throughout the day).
In addition to lifestyle changes I’m making, I wish to get advice on supplements(s) that will help my body naturally restore itself. My preference is for things made from whole foods and herbs.
I’m currently just taking:
1 Multi Vitamin/Mineral (by ‘new chapter’)
1 Salmon Oil (1000mg)
2 B Complexes (by ‘megafoods’)
Extra Vit C
And I’ve begun drinking 1-2 cups of ginko tea daily and a lemon balm or peppermint tea in the evening.
I wish to try a herbal formula and perhaps an adrenal gland extract. Can anyone recommend a good herb formula that isn’t too stimulating but will build up my adrenals and balance my thyroid?
I’ve tried maca and panax ginseng, both made me feel better at first but then I overheated and became jittery.
I feel I may tolerate Siberian ginseng better and have never had problems with ginger and cayenne in my food. So was considering “Dr Christopher’s” containing:
Mullein, Licorice, Siberian Ginseng, Gotu Kola, Hawthorn, Lobelia, Ginger & Cayenne.
Any suggestions would be very appreciated. I don’t have a herbalist or natrupathic doctor where I live.
