Is There Any Herbal Remedies Out There For Dry/cracked Hands?

My dad gets really dried hands in the winter. He fishes so his hands are always in the cold water.
It happens in the winter, his fingers just crack and get really dry. Is there anything he can eat/take to help this?
He uses cream constantly, and it helps temporarily… But nothing really works for long periods of time.
Thank you.

In my opinion, and I swear by this, the best product available to mankind is a cream called Zim’s Crack Cream. Kind of hard to come by but I ask my Meijer to get it and they do. I have also seen if for sale at Equine Affaire.
It is an Arnica based lotion that is 100 percent awesome. Meanwhile, has your father seen his doctor about this?

Well, I don’t know any herbal remedies, but there is this one kind of hand lotion that works. It’s called Nutrogena, and it is a Norwigian formula. It really works. Please try it! :D

Vaseline also known as Petroleum Jelly is fantastic! You could apply this on every night and then cover the hands with cotton / woollen gloves. Please do this regularly for a couple of weeks and the difference is amazing !
