Any Natural/alternative/herbal Remedies To Soften And Condition The Hair And Scalp?

I have long hair (below shoulder blades) which is naturally quite wavy with the odd curl here and there. It has beguun to feel very coarse and my scalp feels dry and itchy due to a long period of hospitalisation.
I am looking for some natural remedies which might help me to soften, shine and condition my hair as well as improve the feel of my scalp which is now dry and itchy though I do not suffer from dandruff.
Any suggestions would be welcomed: oils, alternative therapy, natural remedies, vitamins etc.

you need to take some vitamins sweet specially omega 3 , or vitamin E this type of vitamins helps people with dry skin in any part of your body it improves any wrinkles also the smooths of your skin making look more elastic supple ,if you start juicing that would help you alot you can do orange juice, apple juice, carrot juice or any fruit you would like. drink alot of water. also I suggest to use a organic hair shampoo without sls this is bad detergent for your hair I suggest to try desert essence shampoo it helps hair leaving less dry you find it at whole foods or desertessence.com this shampoo would help you alot like raspberry shampoo or fragrance free line or vitaminshoppe.com stores.
Also on your hair you can do a hair mask you need avocado soft ripe
smash it & pour 7 drops of olive oil put it on your hair for about 20 minutes 1 time a week. get better !

Well, I also have long hair that is feeling pretty dry. I took 3 ripe avocados, 3 tables spoons of olive oil, and 3 egg yolks smashed them together and put it in my hair. It’s recommended to leave in for at least 30 minutes. Wash and condition hair and then let air dry. I currently have this smelly mixture on my head….. I will update a little later and let you know how it worked.

its all natural and antioxidant rich and my hair and scalp feel conditioned and healthy just after the shampoo alone.
its amazing, and a little goes a long way.

    try sephora.

Cut a coconut in half. Cut out the meaty white material inside and puree it in a blender. Apply to clean hair. You may wrap in plastic and apply a heat source.
    All natural instant hair conditioner…
