Does Herbal Tea With Honey Count Towards The Six Glasses Of Water You Should Drink A Day?

As long as it’s not caffinated. The caffine in drinks are what cause you to get dehydrated, but most herbal teas are not caffinated and should be alright for your daily water intake.

    No, not at all…
Most teas will make you loose water faster.
Water is necessary for your body to clean itself. To get all the bad stuff out. Compare it to a house… You don’t clean your floor with tea and honey, do you?

Pretty much any liquid counts, so long as it doesn’t contain the kind of things you need to flush out of your system. so herb tea, fruit juice, squash etc all fine. Alcohol, strong coffee etc not so good because they both have a diuretic effect, and will tend to dehydrate rather than hydrate you. Most of my fluid intake is in the form of tea, and it’s never done me any harm, even if I have a biscuit with it

No, and you should drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
Water should be our primary drink.
We have to cut out the juices, sodas and lattes/teas.

any tea is a diuretic: it causes water to be pulled from your body and you have to urinate more frequently.
it counts as water, but as you can see, it doesn’t stay in the body as long as a simple glass of water will.
